LEVAN SAGINASHVILI

Levan Saginashvili, nicknamed Georgian Hulk, is a Georgian professional arm-wrestler. Winner of the World Armwrestling Championship seven times, the European arm-wrestling championship six times, and the Vendetta Top 8, Saginashvili is the World's number 1 ranking armwrestler at the moment.

Career[edit]

After winning the 2013 World Police and Fire Games arm-wrestling gold medal in Belfast,[2] he was awarded the merit of first degree by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

In 2018 he won the EuroArm,[3] World Arm-wrestling Championship,[4] and Vendetta All Stars #50 in RumiaPoland.[5]

After winning the six-round super-match against Devon Larratt at King of the Table 4 on June 25, 2022, he was presented with the right hand legacy hammer by Devon Larratt and was universally recognized as the world #1 (right arm) arm-wrestler by the community. Levan has stated previously that he intended to win every single round of his professional supermatch career, and was able to uphold this goal from his first supermatch in 2017 until February 2023 when Levan conceded 2 nonessential final rounds against Ermes Gasparini due to health concerns (although still victorious overall).

On February 25, 2023, Saginashvili faced off against Ermes Gasparini at King of the Table 6. Levan had put his legacy hammer and undefeated streak on the line, having won all his preceding super matches with a 6–0 score. Ermes secured his second-ranked spot with a victory over Dave Chaffee. Levan emerged victorious by winning the first 4 rounds out of a possible 6. However, in the fifth and sixth rounds, he chose not to continue the match due to the previously mentioned health concerns, leading the officials to give the last 2 forfeited rounds to Ermes and end the match on a 4–2 note in favor of Levan. This marked the end of Levan's streak of shutout wins in supermatches, but he still remained unpinned and retained his spot as the number one arm wrestler in the world.[6]

Levan appears in the 2023 action film Extraction 2.[7]

DENIS CYPLENKOV

DEVON LARRAT

Devon Larratt (born 24 April 1975) is a Canadian professional armwrestlercontent creator, and a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces.[2][3] Considered to be one of the best arm wrestlers in the world and as of the King Of The Table 7 event, considered by many to be the best arm wrestler in North America, he has vastly collaborated to popularize the sport to a wider audience.[4]

In 2007, Devon Larratt joined ArmWars, again defeating Ron Bath, this time with a score of 6–5 at the Trafford Centre in Manchester, England.[16][17]

In 2008, Larratt was the first man in twenty five years to beat John Brzenk in a super-match.[18][19] After defeating that arm-wrestling legend, 6–0, Larratt became an internationally recognized armwrestler, and was considered the new #1 ranked right handed arm-wrestler in the world. In the same year, Larratt also beat Marcio Barboza and Travis Bagent, defeating them both by the score of 5–1.[20][21]

In 2010, Devon Larratt beat Travis Bagent 5–2, Tim Bresnan 5–1, and Don Underwood 4–3, to become the #1 ranked arm-wrestler in the world (both left and right).[22][23][24]
